Linfield’s School of Nursing is actively recruiting full-time nursing faculty candidates who are passionate about teaching and who have a commitment to diversity and student-centered education. Our concept-based nursing curriculum is rooted in the liberal arts, nursing theory and research. We seek collaborative nurse educators from all backgrounds to teach in our prelicensure and post-licensure nursing programs.
Nursing faculty candidates must possess 1) a master’s degree in nursing, 2) an Oregon RN license (or eligibility for licensure in Oregon) and 3) three years of full-time nursing practice experience. Preferred qualifications include: evidence of effective teaching at the BSN or MSN level, previous experience in a higher education setting and a terminal degree in nursing (PhD or DNP).
