Martha Driessnack, PhD, PPCNP, long-time WIN member and newly inducted member of the Western Academy of Nurses, will be the opening keynote speaker at the 13th International Family Nursing Association (IFNA) Conference in Pamplona, Spain on June 14, 2017. The conference will be held in the Museum of Modern Art at the University of Pamplona with the theme of “The Art and Science of Family Nursing: Transforming Health for Families.” Her address is entitled “Who are you from?” and will highlight how to integrate various forms of art into family-focused research and how children build resilience through family narratives. Dr. Driessnack is Associate Professor, Oregon Health & Science University School of Nursing, Portland, OR.
Jane Lassetter, PhD, RN, Associate Professor at Brigham Young University College of Nursing, Provo, UT, is co-chair of the conference and President-Elect of IFNA. Dr. Lassetter also serves as Governor-at-Large on the WIN Board of Governors.
