Integrative Health (IH) is a whole person/whole system approach to health care that uses a full spectrum of strategies to improve health and wellbeing.  In an integrative health approach to care, providers choose across a variety of evidence-informed choices that includes complementary/alternative modalities (CAM) as well as more traditional biomedical interventions. With the goal of choosing the best approach to care, IH is the ultimate interprofessional approach to care, drawing from a variety of practitioners, modalities and systems of medicine. WIN members with interest in research and education that has an IH focus are invited to creatively discuss how to support an integrative health presence at future research conferences through posters, presentations and symposiums.
