Gero-SIG Research Awards
Each year the Gero-SIG awards three outstanding abstracts relevant to gerontology, one in each of the three WIN abstract submission categories: 1) Research, 2) Project/Best Practice, 3) Theory/Conceptual Papers.
Abstracts are eligible for consideration if they are accepted for presentation at WIN (poster or podium) and submitted using “gerontology” as a keyword. Detailed eligibility criteria and instructions will be sent to first-authors of qualified abstracts. Award winners will be notified by email in advance of the conference. Winners will receive a plaque and a small cash award at our annual Gero-SIG meeting.
Award reviewers include a panel of Gero-SIG members representing a variety of different institutions and research interests. Interested in serving as a reviewer? Please email Corinna Trujillo Tanner at corinna_tanner@byu.edu.
