Research & Information Poster Exchange (R&IE)

R&IE Participation Deadline: Wednesday, January 31, 2024

New in 2024 - Please note that there will be two posters displayed on each side of every poster board. The display area allocated to each poster is 4' x 4'. Please ensure that your R&IE posters do not exceed this size.

The Research and Information Poster Exchange (R&IE) is an important feature of WIN’s annual conference and a significant benefit of organizational membership in WIN. Each member organization may submit up to 12 R&IE posters to be assigned to one of the poster sessions held throughout the conference. R&IE posters are not peer reviewed by WIN, and each organizational member should develop its own criteria for selecting R&IE posters to be presented at the conference. WIN does not collect abstracts for R&IE posters. Students, nurses, and faculty from WIN member organizations are welcome to participate in the R&IE. The presenting author of each R&IE poster is responsible for registering for the conference.

The deadline for submitting R&IE poster titles to WIN is Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Each participating organization should submit a single form, and the form should be submitted by the member institution. Individual students, nurses, and faculty should not submit the form directly to WIN. As in past years, WIN will be collecting the following information: Poster title (maximum of 75 characters not including spaces), presenting author, email address of presenting author, and any additional authors.

In early February, you will be notified of the date and time that the R&IE posters from your organization will be presented. Please help us ensure that R&IE poster presenters understand that they are making a commitment to present their posters on the assigned date/time. R&IE poster titles and authors will be included in the conference proceedings and program.

Poster presenters share their work interactively to conference participants with the aid of a visual display that summarizes research findings or project outcomes. Posters are displayed in a central location for four-hour blocks of time so participants can peruse the posters and speak with the authors. The WIN Program Committee has set aside one hour during each poster session in which the only scheduled activity is poster viewing. We ask that presenters stand by their posters during this hour, which will be listed in the conference program that will be posted on the website.  Information for Poster Presenters
