Silent Auction
WIN is seeking items to be donated to the 2023 Silent Auction, which will be held during the conference on Thursday, April 20, and Friday, April 21. Proceeds from the auction support the WIN awards, including the poster awards and the partnership grants with the CANS, NLN, and Sigma.
STEPS FOR DONORS
If you plan to donate an item for the auction please complete the Silent Auction Donation Form and send it to nmsionnagh@gmail.com.
Submit your donation, along with your name, address, email address (used for preparing statement for use in tax filing), and the estimated value of your donation and a suggested minimum bid by:
Bringing your item to the conference registration desk on Wednesday, April 19 or Thursday, April 20
or
Mailing your item in advance of the conference (by April 1) to Jacqueline Jones, Western Institute of Nursing, 3455 SW Veterans Hospital Road, Mail Code: SN-4S, Portland, OR 97239.
If you are unable to provide advance notice of your donation, bring your item to the conference registration desk.
IDEAS FOR DONATIONS
Artwork (paintings, photographs, sculpture, pottery), jewelry, knitwear, scarves, gift cards, picture frames, collectibles, nursing memorabilia (new releases, historic books, posters), vacation packages, and/or items unique to your city or region.
Donations from graduate students from WIN member organizations have contributed greatly to the success of past auctions. Graduate students are challenged to collectively submit a basket or box of items unique to their school or region in the West. Please ensure contents can be easily transported with the winning bidder on an airplane.
